About Roomly

Roomly is a South African short-term rental marketplace connecting guests with hosts across the Eastern Cape. We make it easy to find and book holiday homes, cottages, and guest houses in Port Alfred, Jeffreys Bay, St Francis Bay, and Gqeberha.

How booking works

Browse properties, choose your dates and guests, and click Reserve. Listings with Instant Book are confirmed immediately. Request to Book listings require host approval within 24 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email once your booking is accepted.

Cancellation & refunds

Our flexible cancellation policy allows full refunds if you cancel before your check-in day. Cancellations on or after check-in day are non-refundable. Always check the individual listing's cancellation policy before booking.

Hosting on Roomly

Becoming a host is free. Complete our 14-step listing wizard to set up your property — add photos, set your price, configure availability, and publish. Roomly charges hosts an 8% service fee on each completed booking payout.

Safety information

We encourage all guests and hosts to review our community guidelines. Guests should verify listing details before arrival. Hosts are responsible for ensuring their property meets local safety standards including smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
